Michael began lead lighting in 1986, completing a Diploma in Stained Glass and Lead Lighting with Holmesglen Tafe, following a successful career as a boiler maker with the Victorian Railways. Michael completed three years training with an experienced lead lighter and began working with carpenters installing kitchen cabinets. Since 1988 Michael has been running Ageless leadlights with various commission works, numerous classes and ongoing restoration projects.

Enes Bowen (Vassallo)
Enes has had an interest and passion for glass art since Michael first introduced it to the family in 1988. Enes, a graduate in Stained Glass and Lead Lighting, and Post Graduate in the Arts has been working with Michael since 2003. Enes has a great passion to see people express themselves through creative avenues. Enes loves both mosaics and copper foil because they are forgiving and symbolize that little part in each of us that needs to be put back together in the hustle and bustle of our hectic every day lives.
